Black Hammock Air Boat Rides

Black Hammock Airboat Rides operates state of the art Airboats. Our renowned tours of Lake Jessup, said to be the most alligator populated lake in the state, provide guests with an exciting ride unmatched anywhere! Guests can expect to encounter alligators, turtles of all sizes, and thousands of species of bird life including the majestic bald eagle. Airboats depart every 30 minutes from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm (extended hours during summer) every day. Of course all of our Captains are U.S. Coast Guard Licensed Master Captains.

The Black Hammock Live Alligator exhibit features an up-close look at various sizes of alligators including Hammy, a 12 ft. 675-pound Florida alligator. Most times, wild alligators can be seen basking on the banks right here too! Guests can have their picture taken holding a live alligator!
