Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex offers a fascinating, behind-the-scenes look at the space program. Space Pass is your all-access ticket to Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. Included are Kennedy Space Center Admission, Lunch with an Astronaut and a guided NASA Up-Close tour.
Lunch With an Astronaut This meal opportunity, currently offered every day of the week at 12:15 p.m. at the Visitor Complex, includes a banquet style lunch with a speaking appearance by a real Astronaut hero. The popular program incorporates a fun highlight video of Astronauts living and working in space, a brief oration on his/her thoughts and individual time with each family for Q&A and photos. The meal is topped off by a wonderful selection of desserts. Guests even receive an autographed souvenir to take home.
NASA Up Close Tour Led by a trained space expert, this tour gives visitors an insider's view of the space program from launch preparation to liftoff. The tour includes up-close views of Space Shuttle launch pads, the Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB), massive Crawler-Transporters, which move the Shuttle from the VAB to its launch pad, and Shuttle Landing Facility. The tour stops in between the Shuttle launch pads, offering a close-up photo opportunity, and the NASA Causeway where guests are surrounded by myriad rocket launch pads and may view the solid rocket booster recovery ships and native wildlife. (Tour duration 2 1/2 hours)
Reservations are required for the Space Pass. Lunch seating begins at 12:15 pm and NASA Up-Close Tour begins at 1:50 pm daily. When purchasing this ticket, you will be required to indicate (on the check-out page) 1st and 2nd choices of dates for this program.
